The 2005 edition will be known as the one of the Revolution. The chocolate will be the starting point of a new way of life, a positive way of acting and thinking.
The news are:
- Eurochocolate at the highway stops: the highway stops will become “chocolate oasis” and they will anticipate the 2005 edition. The Chocoday will be hosted in the main highway stops on October 12th with some demonstrations, animations and tasting of the most important chocolate companies.
- Red October: chili pepper revolution! (Rocca Paolina fortress – Sala Caminetto, October 15th-23rd, 2005): chili pepper will marry chocolate bars, liquors, praline, cakes and spreading creams of the most important Italian craft firms.
- Copernico Pralines Shop…you will fed up of it! (old church of the Misericordia, Via Oberdan): Eurochocolate will put the Food ofGods in the middle of the universe.
- Garibaldi Chocolate Shop by Lindt (Pavone Theatre, Piazza della Repubblica, October 15th-23rd): the new Eurochocolate reality game will allow you to follow cocoa battles by contender pastry chefs. They will cook retracing the various legs that Garibaldi did in his revolutionary journey to unify Italy…
- “Find the title and…continue the story!”: literary competition which involves the famous writer Clara Sereni who expressly wrote the incipit with two revolutionary characters: Rebel and Subversive
- Chocolate, exquisite kindness: beautiful exhibition arranged with the National Central Library of Florence. There are manuscripts and old books regarding chocolate since 1600.
- “A unique chocolate in the entire world” (Piazza Italia): The Italian Collection Agency (inside his stand) will offer a sweet chocolate gift to everybody sent the Modello Unico 2005 (a tax model) by the internet (a technologic revolution).
